I made this quilt during my 4th month of pregnancy. It was the first time I created a quilt using applique and really enjoyed the process. I used flannel fabric for the back of the quilt -- it's soft and fuzzy for the baby to cuddle on. I loved the fabric pattern, too. Those little birds and suns just lit up when I saw them.
