The Room is Ready for Baby!
The furniture was delivered Friday, February 13th and I spent the day putting the room together for our little one to come home to! I am so excited to see it finished.
Here are some pictures!

We chose the extra room on the back side of the house as our baby room (away from traffic and gets lots of sunlight!). The photos below will show the major work Patrick put in to make the baby's room a happy, beautiful room for our little one.

The theme of the room is Classic Winnie the Pooh. To see our border, bedding set, and furniture (in Cherry) click here. I can't wait to see all this in the room!

Before
The "Pink Room" (which is only called that because I put a lot of pink stuff in this room) had 3 blue-ish white walls and a very odd purple wall. The rugs were stained and burnt from smoking and basic teenage living. We started moving everything out of this room and then remembered to take some pictures!

Wolverines border along the top of the walls. No paint or stain on trim.

The carpet just needs to go!

Random purple wall!

During
Patrick has ripped up the carpeting and is going through a series of paint layers to get the right color for the nursery. He primed the walls and trim and painted the walls a rich tan/honey color. More photos as the room progresses.

The room is completely primed and the carpet pulled up.

Walls and trim painted, border hung!

Painted the inside of the closet white.

How cute is this border!

Carpet is installed! Roman Shades are hung! WOO HOO! Just need to add the painted doors and it's all done!
